Wuthering Waves Echo Score Calculator — grade your echo build

Enter the main and substats of five echoes for a resonator and the Echo Calculator scores them from 0 to 100 and assigns a B, A, S, SS, SSS or GOD grade, based on DPS in a standard team from the phro.love simulator. Echo set, weapon and teammate buffs stay fixed at their defaults so only the echo stats change the result.

How to use

  1. Pick a resonator.
  2. Choose each echo's cost (4C/3C/1C, total 12 or less), main stat, and up to five substats with their roll values.
  3. Press Calculate to see the score, grade and Energy Regen status.
  4. Use Set best score to see the 100-point build and compare it with yours.

Score grade (tier) table

Scores are your DPS as a percentage of the resonator's best DPS (0-100) and split into these grades.

EX90 or higherBeyond scale (realistically unattainable)
GOD85-90Mythic / guardian tier
SSS80-85Top tier (top 0.1%)
SS70-80Near-final build (top 1%)
S60-70Final build (top 10%)
A40-60Perfectly usable
Bunder 40Needs improvement

Glossary

Main stat
— The fixed stat of a 4C, 3C or 1C echo. Recommended mains per cost carry a star.
Substat
— Stats added by tuning, up to five lines, each rolled from a fixed set of value steps.
Useful substat
— A substat that actually raises that resonator's DPS.
Energy Regen penalty
— Up to 20 points are deducted when Energy Regen falls short of what the standard team needs.

FAQ

How is the score calculated?
Score = the standard-team DPS of your echo setup ÷ that resonator's best DPS × 100. The best DPS is the highest-DPS build that still meets the Energy Regen requirement, and it scores 100. Falling short of the recommended Energy Regen subtracts up to 20 points.
What are the grade cutoffs?
B is under 40, A 40-60, S 60-70, SS 70-80, SSS 80-85, GOD 85-90 and EX 90 or higher.
Why does Energy Regen affect the score?
It does not raise damage but a rotation needs it. Meeting the standard team's required Energy Regen costs nothing; falling short subtracts points in proportion to the shortfall.
Do I need to log in?
No. Logging in saves each resonator's echo setup to your account so it follows you across devices.
How do I read the echo tier (grade)?
The score is split into seven grades, B, A, S, SS, SSS, GOD and EX. Each resonator has its own 100-point reference, so compare within the same resonator rather than across different ones: it shows how close your setup is to finished.
What does echo score conversion mean?
The score converts the rolled values of useful substats into DPS contribution. Only options that raise that resonator's damage, like crit or ATK, add points; irrelevant substats count for almost nothing.
How are useful substats decided?
They follow each resonator's default echo setup and the simulator's useful-option definition. See the "recommended echo setup and useful substats" section on each resonator page.
